What personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. JammalFX is a journaling and education tool, not a broker, and does not give investment advice.
1. Who is responsible
This policy explains how JammalFX (“we”, “us”), the operator of JammalFX at jammalfx.com, collects and uses personal data when you visit the website or use the Service. We are the controller of that data. Contact: hi@jammalfx.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), time zone, profile picture if you add one, and your preferences. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and picture.
- Trading records: the accounts, trades, notes, tags, screenshots, strategies, rules, goals, reviews and prop challenges you add or import. We never ask for your broker password or exchange keys and we do not connect to your trading account.
- Billing data: your plan, its status and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment partner and never reach us.
- Community and academy: your posts, comments and reactions, course progress, notes and certificates.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact page or by email.
- Technical and security data: sign-in times, the devices you sign in from, and security logs used to protect accounts. Site visit counts are measured without storing IP addresses.
3. How we use your data
- to create and run your account and provide the Service, including your statistics and reports;
- to process subscriptions, prevent fraud and keep records required by law;
- to keep the Service secure, detect abuse and fix problems;
- to answer your messages and provide support;
- to send service emails (account, security, billing) and, if you choose, notifications about your trading rules and the platform.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service, answering messages), legal obligation (tax and accounting records) and consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
5. What other people see
- Your journal is private. Nothing in it is shown to other members.
- In the community, other members see your name, picture and what you post. Your email address is never shown.
- On the Elite plan, people you add to your team see only the features you give them access to.
- Certificate verification pages show your name, the course and the date.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not use your trades to give trading signals or to trade ourselves.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. When data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encrypted storage for secret keys, optional two-factor authentication, access controls that keep each member’s data separate, limits on repeated sign-in attempts and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and turn on two-factor authentication.
10. How long we keep data
- Account data and trading records: while your account is open. When you delete your account, they are removed from the live system within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Security logs: up to 180 days.
- Messages to support: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, export, delete or restrict the processing of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent.
- Export: download a copy of your data from Settings → Security at any time.
- Delete: delete your account yourself from Settings → Security.
- Other requests: email hi@jammalfx.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use only essential cookies and browser storage. See the Cookie policy.
13. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
