Everything your trading records need, in one place
Compare JammalFX with the ways traders usually keep records: a spreadsheet, a paper notebook, broker statements and note-taking apps. What each one does, clearly, including what JammalFX does not do.

Marks describe each method in general use; what you get from a spreadsheet or an app depends on how much you build yourself. We also show what JammalFX does not do.
What JammalFX does, and what it does not
I already use a spreadsheet. Why switch?
A spreadsheet can do a lot if you build and maintain it. JammalFX gives you the trade fields, calculations, imports, analytics, rules and reports ready from the first sign-in, so your time goes into reviewing trades instead of fixing formulas. You can export everything to CSV whenever you want.
Can I bring my old trades?
Yes. Save your spreadsheet as CSV, or export a statement from MetaTrader 4 or 5, and import it with the column mapping. Import is part of JammalFX Pro.
Is a paper notebook still useful?
Writing by hand helps many traders think. Keep it for your thoughts if you like it, and let JammalFX handle the numbers, the analytics and the rules.
Why not just read my broker statements?
Statements show what was filled, not why you took the trade, which strategy it followed or whether you kept your rules. JammalFX adds that context and turns it into analytics.
Does JammalFX connect to my broker or place trades?
No. JammalFX never asks for your broker login and never places orders. You log or import your trades, and JammalFX helps you review them.
What does JammalFX not do?
It does not work offline, it does not give signals or investment advice, and its screens are purpose-built rather than a blank canvas you can shape any way you like.
