Questions about Trade import
Which files can I import?
CSV files (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe separated) and the HTML statements of MetaTrader 4 (Detailed statement) and MetaTrader 5 (Report), up to 5 MB and 20,000 rows.
What happens if I import the same file twice?
Trades that already exist in the account with the same ticket number are skipped, so nothing is counted twice.
Is import included in the Free plan?
Import is part of JammalFX Pro and Elite. On the Free plan you can add trades by hand.
Why do I need to choose a time zone?
Platforms write times in their server time zone. JammalFX converts them so sessions, days and the P&L calendar match your own clock.
What can I record for each trade?
The account, symbol, direction (long or short), entry and exit times and prices, size, stop loss and take profit, fees and swap, the strategy you used, tags such as setup or mistake, your notes, and screenshots of the chart before and after. Only the basics are required; the rest makes your analytics more useful.
How is the R-multiple calculated?
R is the net result of a trade divided by the money you risked at entry. When you set a stop loss, the risk is calculated from the entry, the stop and the size. A trade that made twice what it risked is +2R, and a full stop-out is −1R.
Works even better together
Every feature shares the same trades, accounts and strategies.
